Who Is The Practitioner Table?

Hey, I'm Emma

I've been a natural therapist for my whole adult life - and our industry is amazing. But we need a whole lot more support post graduation!

I'm a mum of 3 boys and I've supported my partner (their dad) to be a stay-at-home parent for the past 10 years - as a practitioner.

But 20 years ago I sat in my very first clinic room in complete and utter overwhelm.
I had come in every single Saturday for 7 months
and I had still never seen an actual client. â€‹â€‹

I didn't know what to do. I had no idea how to attract clients or even how to work with them once they were in the clinic room with me!

As a student, I was super confident. I knew I could do this..

So why was it so much harder when I was working "in the real world?!"

It took 7 long years and a countless amount of tears and fears but I finally created a full time clinic!

I can't tell you just how tough that first 7 years was...

Fast forward a decade or so and through being a full time practitioner:

I've supported our family through 3 maternity leaves

I've supported my partner to be a stay-at-home Dad for 10 years

We've built a house (as a sole trader with a stay at home dad!)

I made a sea change and started from scratch again! (This time it took only 18 months to become full time in a new country town)

 I've seen thousands of clients,

written and taught many courses and workshops,

held retreats,

written business courses for Endeavour college,

mentored other practitioners and therapists..

and now I'm building a support system for our industry that I know it is desperately seeking!

The truth is,creating a successful career as a Holistic Practitioner/Therapist is tough.

It's tougher when you have to do it alone.

Our industry is neededI know that there are far too many grounded, beautiful, caring practitioners and therapists who are hiding because of a lack of confidence..that lack of confidence isn't your fault..

No-one is meant to step from student to professional in the health space, without support and guidance!

And so here it is.. FINALLY the support system you need to make a difference in this world.

And I can't wait to meet you at "The Table"!

Em

Why
"The Practitioner Table"?

A table - whether it be the practitioner table or the kitchen table is a place where you can let all of your doubts and fears go and just be.
Just connect, share, laugh, learn, be inspired....
we meet our friends, our colleagues, people we don't know, people who inspire us, people we love - all at a table.

I always wanted the space I was creating to feel like home. Growing up Italian, the Table was always that place. Then for the past 20 years, the massage table is where I have spent a lot of my hours - such a humbling and incredible place to be.

And so the name "The Practitioner Table", for me combines these spaces perfectly..

and I hope you find it a "home" for you too.
