A Mum of 2 boys, a Kinesiologist for 13 years;
I have a Bachelor of Health Science and have built my little business up from the ground up. It wasn't a straight line! But I've found what works for me over the years. My first full time clinic was in the Northern Beaches of Sydney. My second full time clinic is now in Forster, NSW. For the past 5 years, I've been able to support my family to the point that my partner can stay home and look after our kids full time. My gross turnover has been over 6 figures for years, and all while choosing what works for me in all the 'salesy' hype out there. You need to be authentic in this industry. Which means doing what works for you and not putting yourself into an energy that doesn't resonate with you only to make your business 'grow'. I'm intuitive in the way that I work in clinic and that is also how I work with the coaching. I still work in clinic and I'm now splitting my time 1/2 between the coaching and 1/2 in clinic ( a little variety keeps things happy for me!) After building my business up in the northern beaches of Sydney, I've now moved to a quieter lifestyle in the Mid-North Coast. I did the whole start up thing again in Forster, and just like kids, it's a lot easier the second time around (with it's own personalty, but you're wiser and more relaxed about the challenges!). It's taken me 18 months to get a full time booked out clinic. I sat on the idea for The Practitioner Table for many years, and last year - 2019, got the big nudge from spirit that it's time to bring it out.. I believe it's because our work is needed more than ever before, people are ready for it. Now it's just time for us to be seen! |
